As an IT Business Analyst at Scylla, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital landscape. With our entire application ecosystem undergoing a major transformation, your work will directly influence operational efficiency, process quality, and the digital maturity of our company.
You will bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring that our systems, tools, and processes evolve in line with the needs of our Operations teams—both on shore and on board our river cruise ships. Through smart analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and process optimization, you help create a streamlined, modern, and data-driven environment that supports Scylla’s continued growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Process Analysis & Optimization

Analyse, redesign, and optimize business processes related to contract management, cruise planning, resource allocation, bookings, and more.

Manage and improve end-to-end workflows across teams and systems.

Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to increase quality, speed, and automation.
Digital Transformation & System Improvements
-
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for internal IT teams and external software vendors.

Contribute to the modernization of Scylla’s entire application landscape.

Act as the linking pin between business teams, IT, software vendors, and technical partners.

Support projects involving integrations, new applications, and custom development.
Stakeholder Management

Serve as a central point of contact for departments in our offices and on our ships.

Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

Manage expectations, priorities, and scope throughout ongoing projects.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Conduct process and system analysis to support data-driven decision-making.

Recommend enhancements that contribute to automation, digitization, and improved user experience.

Maintain structured and transparent documentation of processes, requirements, and decisions.
Collaboration & Ways of Working

Work closely with fellow analysts, Power Platform specialists, developers, and business teams.

Contribute to an Agile way of working by helping break down complex projects into manageable deliverables.

Support the cultural shift toward proactive collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring Onboard
-
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar hybrid role.

Strong understanding of applications, data structures, integrations, and cloud concepts.

Experience working with external software vendors in an international environment.

Ability to independently manage priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Fluent in Dutch and English.

Bachelor’s degree required (IT, Business Administration, or similar).

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proactive, open-minded, and eager to bring new ideas to the table.

Ability to confidently bridge the gap between business and IT.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus.
